Dimovski for RFE/RL: Perpetrators of bomb threats are encouraged as we cannot discover them

Skopje, 5 March 2023 (MIA) – The perpetrators of bomb threats are already becoming insolent, so reports for bomb threats were sent to presidential residence, which is highly secured. They simply want to spread those reports that are already deeply penetrating our consciousness, Professor Zlate Dimovski at the Faculty of Security said in an interview with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) on Sunday.

“This is really a huge problem, unfortunately, we still haven't found the appropriate modality and that's why we still have reports. Because we haven't found the modality, bomb threats are significantly on the rise. They are encouraged that we can't detect them, we can't stop them completely, whatever we do detect them, they continue with unabated intensity,” Dimovski said.

Regarding the fact that the situation was similar in Serbia and Montenegro, but there it decreased and what they did, and we do not do it as a state, adding that he is not familiar with what they did.

“Most probably they found modalities and through the providers, I guess through Google, there are certain possibilities that can hinder them,” Dimovski said.

Obviously, it will be necessary to react at the state level and ask for their experience, their knowledge and skills, which they applied in that context, in order to obtain such data as to act and to be applied in our country as well, because we have pretty much the same way of reporting of bomb threats, Dimovski added in the interview.
