Skopje, 9 June 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 55 new COVID-19 cases after 1,002 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 61 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Thursday. Of the new cases, 39 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 4, Gostivar – 3, Kumanovo – 2, Shtip – 2, Prilep – 1, Veles – 1, Strumica – 1, Struga – 1, and Gevgelija – 1. At the moment, 431 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,063,935 tests, recording 312,473 COVID-19 cases and 302,729 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,313.
