COVID-19: 312 new cases, 290 recoveries, one patient dies in past 24 hours
Skopje, 15 March 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 312 new COVID-19 infections after 2,605 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, one patient died and 290 recovered,  the Health Ministry said on Tuesday. Of the new cases,  181 were registered in Skopje, followed by Prilep – 17, Bitola – 13, Kavadarci – 13, Kumanovo – 12, Ohrid – 11, Veles – 8, Gostivar – 8, Strumica – 7, Gevgelija – 6, Resen – 5, Shtip – 4, Tetovo – 3, Kichevo – 3, Berovo – 3, Kratovo – 3, Kochani – 2, Struga – 2, Radovish – 2, Kriva Palanka – 2, Valandovo – 2, Vinica – 2, Negotino – 1, Debar – 1, and Krushevo – 1. In addition, 51 of the total number of new cases (312) are re-infections. One patient from Radovish aged 77 died in hospital in the past 24 hours. According to the Covid-diagnosed fatality registry, four people died between February 19 and March 9. At the moment, 1,833 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,925,963 tests, recording 301,895 COVID-19 cases and 290,907 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,155.
