Skopje, 12 October 2023 (MIA) - Luxury vehicles and those emitting a higher percentage of carbon dioxide will have a higher tax rate, said Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi on Thursday.

The draft-decision should be reviewed on the next Government session on Tuesday.

"Taxes will not be increased for vehicles as per the draft-decision that will be discussed by the Government on Tuesday. This decision only relates to luxury vehicles and vehicles emitting a higher percentage of carbon dioxide. Meaning, this increase will not affect a larger category of citizens," Deputy PM Bytyqi told reporters.
