Bytyqi: Great potential for development of trade exchange between N. Macedonia and Poland

Skopje, 26 June 2023 (MIA) – North Macedonia and Poland have great potential to develop their trade exchange, said Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic affairs, coordination of economic sectors and investments, Fatmir Bytyqi, at a meeting Monday with a parliamentary delegation from Poland led by the Deputy Marshal of the Polish Sejm, Ryszard Terlecki.

According to a press release from Bytyqi’s Office, the Deputy PM stressed that the fact Poland continuously ranks among the top 10-15 largest trade partners of North Macedonia does not fully reflect the economic potentials that exist between the two countries.

The Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, Terlecki, voiced his gratitude for the reception and added that the visit will serve as the basis for further development of the good relations between the two friendly countries.

Terlecki noted that Poland already sees North Macedonia as an EU member state, and hopes that the country’s Euro-integration process will be completed quickly.
