Sofia, 28 July 2021 (MIA) – The Bulgarian Government has approved the draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy of the Republic of North Macedonia, for cooperation in agriculture, agricultural sciences, rural areas and forestry. The document is a basis for deepening cooperation between the two ministries through exchange of scientific and technical information, transfer of expertise, sharing of good practices, as well as development and implementation of joint research programs, MIA’s Sofia correspondent reports. In addition, Bulgaria and North Macedonia will cooperate in areas including organic production and processing of organic agricultural products, biotechnologies in crop and livestock production, selection and breeding in livestock, as well as cross-border cooperation in rural areas.
