Skopje, 8 February 2023 (MIA) — The bomb threats that 16 high schools in Skopje received Wednesday turned out to be false, the Interior Ministry said after police checks found nothing. 

According to the authorities, the bomb threats emailed to the MRTV national broadcaster, the Transport Center, Cevahir Sky City, the GTC shopping center, East Gate Mall, and City Mall were also false.

As soon as they were notified, police officers evacuated the buildings and bomb squads searched the premises. No explosives were found. mr/
