Skopje, 16 March 2023 (MIA) – Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski and Chinese Ambassador to North Macedonia, Zhang Zuo,discussed Thursday the projects for construction and reconstruction of the road network in the country, especially the Kichevo-Ohrid highway section and the Farish-Drenovo expressway that are being constructed by a Chinese company, and stressed the need for joint commitment by all parties to ensure a timely completion of the capital projects.

“I used today’s meeting with Ambassador Zuo to discuss the capital projects, the dynamics of their realization and their significance for the region. I especially focused on the projects that are being constructed by a Chinese company and stressed the need and importance of a timely completion of the projects, as well as their influence in the creation of the new regional road network,” said Bochvarski.

According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Bochvarski expressed his gratitude for the current cooperation and stressed the need for its intensification in the coming period. ad/ik/
