Skopje, 28 March 2024 (MIA) – Flights from Vienna to Skopje and vice versa have been canceled due to a strike by the staff of Austrian Airlines taking place on Thursday and Friday.

The official website of the Skopje International Airport doesn’t list any departures or arrivals from the Austrian carrier. 

Around 400 flights have been cancelled as a result of the strike, affecting around 50.000 passengers globally.

Among the flights cancelled over the two-day period there are 24 flights from Vienna to cities in the region, including flights to Belgrade, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Pristina, Skopje, Podgorica, Dubrovnik and Split.
