Altus Ensemble to give concert at Philharmonic

Skopje, 4 November 2024 (MIA) -- Altus Ensemble will perform works by contemporary Macedonian composers in concert at the Philharmonic chamber hall.
The concert program features works by Darija Andovska, Filip Ivanov, André Jolivet, Goran Nachevski, Pande Shahov, Ana Marija Tobias, and Tomislav Zografski.
The concert will mark Zografski's 100th birth anniversary and Jolivet's 50th death anniversary.
Altus Ensemble consists of Gonca Bogoromova-Krapovski (soprano), Elena Stojcheska (flute), Igor Ivanov (clarinet), Martin Dimitrov (violin), Aleksandar Laovski (viola), Paskal Krapovski (cello), Marijana Nikolovska (piano). The ensemble's artistic director is Pascal Gallois.
Altus focuses on promoting contemporary composers through commissioning new music and performing for diverse audiences.
The ensemble has performed at Ohrid Summer and Macedonian Music Days as well as at Dynamikfest Chamber Music Festival in Salzburg, Austria, and Les Musicales de Quiberon Festival in Quiberon, France. mr/
