Skopje, 14 July 2021 (MIA) – Exports in the second quarter of 2021 stand at EUR 763 million, a 140-percent increase compared to the same period last year, says Prime Minister Zoran Zaev. The number of new jobs has increased in the free economic zones, a trend that is expected to continue in the coming months. “The number of new jobs in investing companies has increased by 7.12 percent. We expect this trend to continue in the coming months, considering the intensive negotiations on fresh investments by existing and new foreign and domestic companies. We are creating a new development concept of the Macedonian economy based on quality investments that benefit the companies, the state and the citizens,” PM Zaev says in a Facebook post.
