Skopje, 13 July 2022 (MIA) – Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovanka Trenchevska said Wednesday that the new wage methodology will be ready by the end of the year and applied as of January 2023. Minister Trenchevska told reporters that the social dialogue is open and the new methodology and the law on wages would cause an increase of public sector salaries. “The social dialogue is open. It’s a systemic, not an ad hoc solution. The process is led by the office of the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, alongside the Minister of Finance, and as a Minister of Labor, I’m involved in the part for unions and workers rights,” Trenchebska said, adding that she expects public debates on the draft methodology. dk/ik/
