Skopje, 10 December 2024 (MIA) – The Supreme Court issued a press release Tuesday afternoon informing that it fully supports and commends the US Department of State’s efforts related to the rule of law and the legal state.
"The United States continues to provide unwavering support and a significant contribution to the judiciary, grounded in legal principles and democratic values. The data and recommendations highlighted in the US Department of State reports carry vital weight for safeguarding judicial independence and fighting corruption. In this context, especially concerning the designated corruption, it is crucial to prioritize actions in line with the law and institutional responsibilities, which are key to maintaining judicial integrity, achieving justice goals, and building public trust. Undermining the foundations of the judiciary through political influence, pressure and corrupt actions is unacceptable," as stated in the Supreme Court’s press release.
