Skopje, 25 December 2024 (МИА) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi has congratulated Christmas to all Catholic believers who observe the Gregorian calendar.

"In the spirit of the greatest Christian holiday, Christmas, it is a special honour and pleasure to extend my warmest greetings, and most sincere wishes for health, happiness and well-being. Christmas is a holiday of peace, love and hope, which unites people in sharing human values ​​in the spirit of mutual respect and understanding. May these festive days bring joy and peace to the hearts of all Catholic believers in our country," Gashi said in his greeting. 

On behalf of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia and on my behalf, he adds, I extend wishes and hope for the strengthening of religious tolerance, coexistence and unity in our society.

"May the light of Christmas illuminate the path of all citizens towards a better future filled with understanding, love and shared success," Gashi said congratulating Christmas.
