Skopje hosts Southeast Europe Energy Conference
- The Southeast Europe Energy Conference will take place in Skopje on December 4-5. The event officially kicks off Wednesday at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) organised by the International Organization for Substations Digital Development.
Skopje, 4 December 2024 (MIA) - The Southeast Europe Energy Conference will take place in Skopje on December 4-5. The event officially kicks off Wednesday at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) organised by the International Organization for Substations Digital Development.
The conference aims to foster cooperation, share experiences, and enhance the professional knowledge and problem-solving capabilities of utility teams responsible for asset management in the Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution utilities in the region.
“With over 2,300 registered participants, the event will feature expert debates on progress in energy transformers, rotating machines, protection and SCADA systems, renewable and hybrid systems, substation equipment, cables, and overhead lines,” reads the press release.
Ana Dorit, Vice President of the International Organization for Substations Digital Development, noted that, given the swift transformation of the energy sector, the conference serves as a platform to explore solutions, stimulate collaboration, and promote innovation.
During the event, participants will be able to attend a presentation and demo installation of innovative substation digitalization software by the International Organization for Substations Digital Development.
