Skopje, 23 August 2022 (MIA) – The State Election Commission has published the final results of the Mavrovo-Rostushe and Centar Zhupa mayoral elections as well as of the Tetovo council election. Medat Kurtovski of the SDSM-led Best for my Municipality coalition was elected mayor of Mavrovo and Rostushe. Arijam Ibraim of the Democratic Party of Turks is the new Centar Zhupa mayor. At the Tetovo council election, Besa won 9,620 votes or 12 council seats. DUI won 8,795 votes or 11 council seats. VMRO-DPMNE won 3,322 votes or four council seats. SDSM won 1,953 votes or two council seats.  The Democratic Party of Albanians won 1,058 votes or one council seat. Alternativa won 1,118 votes or one council seat. Integra won 161 votes and no council seats. Agon Zaimi Voters' Group won 206 votes and no council seats. The Alliance for Albanians won 777 votes and no council seats. Democratic Party of Turks won 327 votes and no council seats. Elmedina Abdullahi Voters' Group won 675 votes and no council seats. PCER won 371 votes and no council seats. Levica won 646 votes and no council seats. The Tetovo council election had a turnout of 29,690 voters (35.31%) and 651 ballots were void. dk/mr/
