Skopje, 24 March 2023 (MIA) — The Macedonian chamber orchestra Profundis will give a "Groove" concert of classical, folk, and rock music with Dragan Suzuki Djordjevic as soloist on cello at the National Opera and Ballet on April 21.

Conducted by Gjurgjica Dashikj, the chamber orchestra will perform pieces by William Walton, Dmitri Shostakovich, Jacques Offenbach, David Popper, and Pablo de Sarasate.
Profundis will also perform a piece commissioned especially for this concert – “Motus folklorikus” by Macedonian composer Darko Ilievski, a song by Jimi Hendrix, and the theme music for "Pulp Fiction."
Their performance will feature 3D visual effects, “seen for the first time at a classical music concert in our country”, organizers say. mr/
