Skopje, 19 June 2025 (MIA) - The Public Revenue Office (PRO) has been elected member of the Intra-European Organisation of Tax Administrations (IOTA) Executive Council during the organization's 29th General Assembly in Baku, Azerbaijan.

This is a significant success for the Office, reaffirming its long-standing, professional and committed involvement in IOTA initiatives, in which PRO has been an active member since 1997. This election not only validates the expertise and results of the organization but is also a pledge for further proactive approach in setting the strategic direction and solving current challenges in the field of tax policy and European-level administration, the PRO said in a press release.

The Office also received a certificate from IOTA Executive Secretary Alix Perrignon de Troyes for the active contribution of its representatives within the IOTA Forum on Tax Debt Management.

At the sidelines of the IOTA General Assembly, PRO Director Elena Petrova met with representatives of European tax administrations, reads the press release.
