Police checks show latest bomb threats in Skopje schools false
Skopje, 11 November 2022 (MIA) – Bomb threats reported earlier on Friday were determined to be false following police checks, the Ministry of Interior said.
“Immediately after the reports were received, police officers took measures to safely evacuate the schools. Following detailed anti-terror checks, it was determined that the bomb threats are false,” reads the press release.
Four Skopje schools reported receiving bomb threats via email on Friday morning. Several Skopje schools have recently been hit by bomb threats, all proven to be false after anti-terrorist check.
Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski has stated several times so far that there is knowledge regarding where the emails were sent from, adding that it is a matter of a hybrid threat.
