PM Kovachevski to participate in Berlin Process Summit for the Western Balkans
Skopje, 2 November 2022 (MIA) – A government delegation led by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski will participate on Thursday in a Western Balkans leaders meeting as part of the Berlin Process Summit, held in the German capital.   The delegation will include Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, the government said in a press release.   The summit’s agenda includes several sessions where PM Kovachevski and leaders of Albania, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro are to discuss regional cooperation and joint regional markets, energy stability and transformation, as well as the perspectives of the Berlin Process and strategic issues.     Western Balkans leaders are set to sign three regional agreements on mobility, related to mutual recognition of identity cards, university degrees and professional qualifications.   The Berlin Process focuses on strengthening and promoting cooperation between Western Balkan countries with the support of the European Commission, in terms of reform processes, joint markets, mutual recognition of professional qualifications and free movement of people and goods, so as to contribute to accelerated regional economic growth and development in the region.
