Pendarovski visits Kavadarci within ‘Face-to-Face with the President’ project 

Skopje, 8 June 2023 (MIA) - President Stevo Pendarovski visited Kavadarci within 'Face-to-Face with the President' project on Thursday.

At the Dobri Daskalov high school, President Pendarovski watched a performance by the school orchestra that won first place in a choir, orchestra and band competition in Valandovo.

He congratulated the orchestra members for their high achievement, expressing confidence that their motivation and strong potential will undoubtedly lead them to significant success in the future, the President's Office reports.

President Pendarovski also met with Michael Georgievski, a student with numerous awards and acknowledgements in the field of natural sciences and mathematics, also with Blazhe Ignatovski, a student ombudsman, who along with his deputies Danka Stojkova and Filip Popov, apply for the protection and exercise of student rights in the educational process.

The meeting highlighted the importance of their ability to timely recognize eventual irregularities in the internal relations between classmates in the form of discrimination hate speech and peer violence.

During his visit, President Pendarovski also visited the 351 Studio, a brand of the Macedonian Sky Eye Entertainment company, which in almost a decade has produced 3,800 unique videos, cooperating with world-famous musicians and the biggest music publishing houses, such as Warner Music, Universal Music, and Sony Music. The President expressed satisfaction that their creativity is being recognized and valued worldwide, especially when taking into consideration the strong competition and the industry’s dynamic development.

For the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vatasha massacre in Moklishte, President Pendarovski paid his respects by laying a fresh flower in front of the monument to the 12 young people killed on 16 June 1943. ssh/sk/
