Skopje, 9 January 2024 (MIA) - The extradition of the suspect in a double murder, Ljupcho Palevski – Palcho, could happen soon; the only remaining step is to finalize the technical details of the handover, the President Stevo Pendarovski said in an interview with Sitel TV.

“Later in the afternoon,” President Pendarovski stated, “we received information indicating that his extradition is not contested from a security intelligence standpoint.”

“At this point, only the technical details are left in what is known as international legal assistance, taking place as a process between the two ministries of justice. So, if I may anticipate, since this is not disputed, there were questions related to certain members of FETO, ... there will be no conditions whatsoever. From that perspective, the matter is cleared, clean, and now only the technical details of the handover need to be finalized. Therefore, the extradition can happen very soon,” Pendarovski said.
