In his address on Monday to the high-level government representatives of the UN member states, Osmani also presented North Macedonia's commitments regarding human rights, calling for efforts to revitalize the values of the Declaration through actions.

"The Republic of North Macedonia has submitted five national commitments and I will focus on the one concerning the strengthening of the independence of the justice system," Osmani said.

"Our relentless effort will be guided by internationally recognised basic principles on independence of the judiciary embedded in the new judicial reform strategy and the plan of action and accelerate digital transformation to further improve people-centric services and quality services by 2027, strengthening resilience against cyber threats and raising awareness of cybersecurity," Osmani noted.

"Combating corruption and improving integrity systematically, as well as enhancing inter-institutional coordination and collaboration among various governmental bodies, the prosecution, and the judiciary; transformative change in the lives of people with disabilities through the establishment of policies and services for inclusive disabilities, employment, and the transformation of all residential institutions into community-based services.
