Official COVID-19 pandemic figures: 81 new SARS-CoV-2 cases, 20 registered reinfections
Skopje, 30 September 2022 (MIA) — Of the 734 SARS-CoV-2 tests done in North Macedonia’s laboratories over the past 24 hours, 81 came back positive for the airborne virus. Of them, 20 were confirmed reinfections, health authorities said Friday. According to the Ministry of Health citing Institute of Public Health data, 77 people recovered from their acute SARS-CoV-2 infection. No deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. Officially, there are now 495 active SARS-CoV-2 cases nationwide, of which 313 in Skopje. Since the start of the pandemic, 9,534 people have died in North Macedonia from SARS-CoV-2. The country’s laboratories have performed a total of 2,169,626 coronavirus tests, officially logging 342,961 COVID-19 cases and declaring 332,932 recoveries. mr/
