Skopje, 7 November 2023 (MIA) – A family of four in the country needed Mden 46.198 to cover the minimal consumer basket in October, said the Federation of Trade Union (SSM) on Tuesday.

The largest share, or 44.06 percent (Mden 19.668,36), of this amount were required for food and beverages, while the smallest share, or 1.88 percent (Mden 836,18) were for healthcare.

In October, 30.73 percent of the minimal consumer basket were required for housing, 7.32 percent for hygiene, 8.37 for transport, 5.25 percent for clothing and shoes, and 2.39 percent for culture.
