New bomb threats, checks underway in four Skopje schools
Skopje, 4 November 2022 (MIA) – Around 2pm Friday, the Skopje Police received a report that four Skopje schools have received bomb threats. The high schools in question are “Orce Nikolov”, “Nikola Karev”, “Zdravko Cvetkovski” and “Josip Broz Tito”, the Ministry of Interior told MIA.
“Immediately after the report was received, measures were taken by police officers to safely evacuate the schools. Anti-terror checks are underway and measures are being taken to clear up the case,” the MoI told MIA.
Nine Skopje schools reported receiving bomb threats by email on Wednesday, which, following anti-terror checks, were determined to be false.
Nine schools received bomb threats last week as well, which were also confirmed to be false by the Ministry. ad/nn/
