Turkish company Cavo Otomotiv interested in investing in TIDZ Skopje

Skopje, 9 May 2025 (MIA) - The multinational corporation Cavo Otomotiv has expressed interest in building a factory in the Skopje Technological Industrial Development Zone (TIDZ), with a planned investment of €25 million and the creation of 500 new jobs.
The Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones said Friday that Director Goce Dimovski met with the company’s general manager, Kemal Amanoel. The meeting focused on investment plans, with specific plans for implementation also being discussed.
Today’s meeting follows the one held in March, which took place during the visit of the government delegation to Turkey.
“Director Dimovski underscored the significance of Cavo Otomotiv’s investment, given the continuous growth of Turkish investments in the zones. The efforts of the Directorate for TIDZ were also emphasized, focusing on their dedication to improving investment conditions in cooperation with the Government and all involved parties,” as reported by the Directorate.
Founded in 1984, Cavo is a multinational corporation, operating in automotive supply industry, designing and manufacturing safety products as well as various mechanisms and operating cables for many leading auto manufacturers. Besides Turkey, the company operates in Canada, Germany, and Slovakia. sk/
