Nejat Kurt appointed TAV Macedonia General Manager
- TAV Macedonia, a subsidiary of TAV Airports, appointed Nejat Kurt as new General Manager as of May 1. Metin Batak will leave his post as General Manager and will become a member of the Executive Board of TAV Tunisie, which manages the Enfidha-Hammamet and Monastir airports.

Skopje, 2 May 2023 (MIA) – TAV Macedonia, a subsidiary of TAV Airports, appointed Nejat Kurt as new General Manager as of May 1. Metin Batak will leave his post as General Manager and will become a member of the Executive Board of TAV Tunisie, which manages the Enfidha-Hammamet and Monastir airports.
Kurt has been working in aviation for 23 years, and has been a part of TAV Macedonia’s senior management since TAV first entered the Macedonian market.
TAV Macedonia, which operates the Skopje International Airport and the Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport, concluded the first four months of 2023 with 753.377 passengers transported at both airports, which is a 44 percent increase compared to the same period in 2022, and 8 percent compared to 2019, which is seen as a reference year. At the same time, the number of flights at both airports stands at 6.010, with an annual growth of 35 percent and 4 percent compared to 2019.
