Skopje, 28 February 2023 (MIA) – The National Opera and Ballet will perform French composer Adolphe Adam’s ballet “Giselle” at 8 pm, with a reprise performance on March 2.

“Giselle” is a magical and timeless story of unrequited love, with choreography by Jean Coralie, Jules Perrault, Marius Petipa, and Leonid Lavrovsky adapted by Croatia’s Irena Pasarić.

Ivan Eminovikj will conduct the orchestra. The costumes and the set were designed by Aleksandar Noshpal and Mihajlo Stojanovski. The light was designed by Milcho Aleksandrov.

The main roles are played by Marija Kichevska Shokarovska, Francisco Giménez Ruiz, Ivana Kocevska, Igor Velanoski, Mimi Pop Aleksova Atanasovska, Iliana Danilov, and Boban Kovachevski.

The soloists will be joined by the National Opera and Ballet dancers and orchestra. mr/
