Skopje, 1 December 2023 (MIA) – We must focus on ending war and conflict, Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine must stop, said the incoming Chairperson of the OSCE and Foreign Minister of Malta, Ian Borg, at Friday's closing press conference of the 30th Ministerial Council of the OSCE in Skopje.

At the press conference, Borg said the unanimous vote of all 57 participating states is testament to “our joint commitment to continue strengthening our Organization and to ensure, despite all the challenges we are currently facing, that this Organization remains robust”.

“As we embark on this journey together, we are committed to fulfilling our duties and responsibility in the time ahead,” said Foreign Minister Borg.

The incoming Chairperson of the Organization said he expects to work hand in hand with all partners, and commit himself “to working towards fostering enhanced dialogue through which multilateralism can make the difference we need”.

The closing conference was also addressed by the current Chairperson, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, and the Secretary General of the OSCE, Helga Maria Schmid.
