Skopje, 6 March 2023 (MIA) - Health Minister Fatmir Mexhiti is participating in a three-day Health Congress held in Tirana, Albania.

"Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony of the congress. The event brings together ministers and leaders of health institutions from the countries in the region and Europe, representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO), the UN and international health organizations and foundations," the Ministry of Health said in a press release.

Minister Mexhiti addressed participants in the congress on Monday. 

According to the press release, the Health Congress aims to bring together policymakers, health experts, healthcare professionals, service users and other key stakeholders to share experiences and engage in dialogue regarding the challenges of health systems.

"Some of the topics at the congress include best international practices towards better health care, boosting the quality of services, as well as implementing latest innovation in the area of health," the Health Ministry adds.
