Skopje, 16 October 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozhinovska is taking part in a meeting of Berlin Process economy ministers held in London, where on the behalf of the Republic of Macedonia, she affirmed the country’s commitment to active engagement in all mechanisms of the Berlin Process, including within the frameworks of the Common Regional Market, said the Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources in a press release Thursday.
According to the Ministry, one of the central focuses of the meeting is the implementation of the Common Regional Market Action Plan 2025-2028 as a key instrument in achieving the free flow of goods, services, capital, and labor in the region, as well as in fostering competitiveness and convergence with the EU.
“Our goal is to ensure that national interests and priorities are incorporated, that reforms are implemented as planned, and that the benefits of regional integration are felt by all citizens. At the same time, this meeting represents an opportunity for exchanging experiences, strengthening partnerships, and coordinating with international financial institutions and other partners who can support projects that deliver tangible results. Our commitment is for these initiatives to be translated into concrete policies and projects, with transparency, efficiency, and a focus on sustainable development,” the Ministry said.
The Berlin Process represents a valuable platform for cooperation between Western Balkan countries and European partners, aimed at advancing regional integration, economic growth, improving infrastructure connectivity, and aligning with the EU’s standards, the Ministry said.
