Prilep, 6 May 2024 (MIA) - We are in the eve of the final decision - we will either return Macedonia to the people or leave it captured, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said at the final rally of VMRO-DPMNE's coalition in Prilep on Monday.

“This Macedonia of ours was built on the foundations of the Ilinden fighters, on the tears and weeping of our mothers. This may be the last chance because the spiritual foundations have become private. I urge you all to come out and vote so that they don’t blackmail us,” Mickoski said.

Presidential candidate Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova said she would be a president of all the citizens.

“Let’s all take a step forward together, a new ASNOM, the fourth Ilinden. In these 30 years, especially in these painful seven years, we saw many strange things. On May 8, let’s repeat the lesson from April 24. The people legitimize and delegitimize. Let’s lay the foundations for a proud Macedonia. A new democratic history will begin on May 9, don’t allow those who are calling for a boycott to suspend your right to vote,” Siljanovska-Davkova said.

VMRO-DPMNE’s list principal in the fourth electoral district, Aleksandar Nikolovski, said at the rally that the choice has never been easier.

“We will either have a normal country or a country sinking in corruption, that’s the choice. May 8 is the crown of our struggle. Today, our generation is getting a chance to make Macedonia a decent place to live in,” Nikolovski said.
