Skopje, 16 July 2023 (MIA) - Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj is hosting the 'Weimar Triangle', i.e. France's Minister of State for Europe Laurence Boone, Minister of State for Europe and Climate in Germany's Federal Foreign Office Anna Lührmann, and Poland’s Minister for the European Union Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk, who are paying a two-day official visit to Skopje.

Deputy PM Marichikj is set to hold a working meeting on Monday with Boone, Lührmann and Szynkowski vel Sęk, for talks on the EU negotiations, with a focus on the fulfillment of the obligations and tasks arising from the negotiating framework and speeding up the European integration process, followed by a joint press conference, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release. 

As part of the visit, the 'Weimar Triangle' will also meet with Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, President Stevo Pendarovski, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi and coordinators of parliamentary groups. 

On Tuesday, Minister of State for Europe and Climate in Germany's Federal Foreign Office Anna Lührmann will take part in an event on the enlargement process, organized by the Secretariat for European Affairs in cooperation with the European Policy Institute (EPI).
