Skopje, 16 March 2023 (MIA) — The water level of Lake Prespa has risen by one centimeter and the levels of Lake Ohrid and Lake Dojran are the same as yesterday, according to the latest measurements by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

Compared to its March average, however, Lake Prespa’s level has decreased by 1.98 m. Lake Ohrid's level is 26 cm below its March average, and Lake Dojran's level is 2.41 m above its March average. 

Measuring the country's river levels, the National Hydrometeorological Service found lower daily readings than their March averages at most benchmark measuring points.

Many of the rivers' levels are almost the same as yesterday, with the exception of the Treska, which has increased by 38 cm at the Makedonski Brod benchmark, and the Pchinja, which has dropped by 6 cm near Katlanovska Banja. mr/
