Skopje, 9 June 2023 (MIA) — The water levels of Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa are the same as yesterday, but the level of Lake Dojran has dropped by one centimeter, according to the latest measurements by the Hydrometeorological Service.

This places the level of Lake Dojran 77 cm lower than its June average. Lake Ohrid’s level is 12 cm below its average, and Lake Prespa’s level is lower than its average for this time of year by 1.94 m.

In contrast, most rivers’ water levels have risen and are near or above their June averages, with the exception of the Bregalnica near Berovo, the Strumica near Novo Selo, and the Crn Drim near Lozhani. Their water levels are significantly lower than their June averages. mr/
