Skopje, 1 May 2025 (MIA) – A government delegation, including Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, Culture Minister Zoran Ljutkov and government secretary general Igor Janushev, took part Thursday in the National Day at EXPO 2025, a World Expo organized in Japan.

Tanec folklore national ensemble opened the national day with a performance that left a strong impression, the government said in a press release.

“The Macedonian stand offers traditional displays, but the biggest attraction was the display by Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, who helmed the urban design of Skopje after the 1963 earthquake. The government remains committed to affirming Macedonia. Taking part in EXPO 2025 is yet another proof, government spokeswoman Marija Miteva said in a video statement.
