Kumanovo, 31 October 2021 (MIA) – Today, Maksim Dimitrievski didn’t win, Kumanovo won and Macedonia won, Maksim Dimitrievski, an independent candidate who sought re-election in Kumanovo, said declaring victory on Sunday night. He promised the citizens that he will fulfill the promises he had made during the campaign. “This is a victory of democracy. I will do my best to change things in the future,” he told supporters criticizing the ruling party SDSM. Dimitrievski stressed that he is still a member of SDSM. He congratulated all candidates who won. “I first of all want to thank all Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Vlachs, Serbs and Roma for voting in the elections and sending a strong message to politicians,” the re-elected Kumanovo mayor said.
