Skopje, 14 February 2023 (MIA) - Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski said Tuesday that the possibility of cooperation with parties and MPs who are in favor of continuing the country's European path is open. Kovachevski stated this following the statement of MP Skender Rexhepi Zejd that he will meet with the Prime Minister.

“At several occasions, I publicly said that the possibility of cooperation with parties and MPs who are in favor of continuing the country's European path, who support reforms in the economy, justice and in all important areas of the country, is open. My goal is progress of the country and improvement of the life of all our citizens. Meetings with MPs, from different political parties and acting independently, are a normal thing in a democracy. In this regard, there can be a meeting with any member of parliament on issues important to the citizens and which are under the competence of the Government that I lead. We have and will have meetings with Mr. Rexhepi,” Kovachevski told TV21.

Rexhepi during the debate show "Click Plus" aired on TV21 on Monday, noted that he will meet with Prime Minister Kovachevski to also discuss with him the international investigation into the court cases, i.e. the promise with which Alternativa entered the Government.
