Kovachevski: No standstill in signing contracts between ESM and companies for subsidized electricity
Shtip, 26 November 2022 (MIA) - There is no standstill, nor selectivity in signing contracts between ESM Sales and the companies that applied for subsidized electricity as of December 1, PM Dimitar Kovachevski told reporters on Saturday in Shtip when asked about the reactions of the companies that applied, and still, they did not conclude the contracts. “At the press conference on Thursday we announced how many companies have already concluded contracts, and all the others that have failed to complete the paperwork as it is being processed immediately, and given that they are submitting it electronically and then, for the sake of speed, they submit it in written form, they will be able to complete them for the next month, so there is no stoppage, there is no selectivity, but on the contrary, there is interest from the state that companies that are part of the production of basic foodstuffs products, primary and secondary schools to join this market as soon as possible, given that the prices there are twice as cheap and more than twice cheaper than the stock market prices and this will enable, firstly, a reduction in the prices of food products and secondly, the smooth running of the educational process, and of course also the health process,” Kovachevski said. PM Kovachevski said that they issue all the data related to energy in a very transparent manner, because as he said, it is an issue that mostly concerns citizens and companies.
