Kovachevski, Meyer discuss cyber security cooperation
Skopje, 28 September 2022 (MIA) - Ways to improve cooperation between North Macedonia and the United States in cyber security were discussed Wednesday by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski with Eric Meyer, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Skopje.
The interlocutors concluded that North Macedonia is already contributing to the coordinated actions among NATO members so as to enhance the resilience toward growing cyber threats in the field of security, the government said.
The importance of sharing successful practices for prevention of cyber incidents and sharing information related to cyber threats was noted as it contributes to increasing the country's resilience to address the global challenge, said the press release.
The United States, said PM Kovachevski, is a great friends and strategic partner of the Republic of North Macedonia and the region in all democratic processes, including defense.
Also, Kovachevski thanked for the warm hospitality during his working visit to New York for the UN General Assembly, stated the press release.
