Skopje, 7 February 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska is paying an official visit to Paris on Tuesday.

Kostadinovska-Stojchevska is set to meet with Director of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, Lazare Eloundou Assomo, as well as with UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Culture, Ernesto Ottone.

Talks will focus on activities as part of UNESCO, as well as plans and projects to be implemented throughout the year as North Macedonia marks the 30th anniversary of its accession to the organization. Cooperation with the UNESCO World Heritage Center,  advisory bodies and their expert assistance will also be discussed.

Kostadinovska-Stojchevska, who is also President of the National Commission for UNESCO of the Republic of North Macedonia, alongside Tatjana Kraljevska-Lazarova, Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO, will attend later on Tuesday the sixteenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, which will be held at UNESCO Headquarters from 7 to 10 February 2023.
