Kocho Racin Cultural Center mounts exhibit, hosts poetry reading dedicated to women

Skopje, 7 March 2025 (MIA) — Ahead of International Women's Day, March 8, a multimedia exhibition titled "Women Throughout World History" will open at the Ko-Ra gallery as part of its "Woman: Symbol and Inspiration" series of events, organizers said.


On display will be works by Marija Svetieva, Marija Chepisheva, Maja Taneva, Biljana Bilbiloska, Kasiopeja Naumoska, Slavica Taneska, Davor Tocinovski, Marija Nikolova, Igor Ljubovchevski Ljubac, Viktor Brangjolica, Hristo Petreski, Gordana Vinchikj, Suzana Arsova and Dijana Petkova.


The curator of the exhibition is Violeta Kalikj, visual arts, design and architecture expert associate at Kocho Racin Cultural Center.


Next in the center's "Woman: Symbol and Inspiration" series of events is a poetry reading that will take place Saturday at noon.


Macedonian poets Violeta Naumovska, Violeta Achkoska, Hristo Petreski, Ljerka Tot Naumova, Almira Papikj, Liljana Stoilkovska, Viktorija Kochevska, Tatjana Tomovska, Eleonora Nikolova, Viktorija Veleva, Miroslav Trajkovski, Lidija Lucko Jeremikj and Vangja Radevska will read their poems on March 8. mr/
