Jeri Dible is new USAID Country Representative for North Macedonia
Skopje, 28 July 2022 (MIA) – On July 27, Jeri Dible was sworn in as the new USAID Country Representative for the Republic of North Macedonia. Arriving at a time of significant new prospects for the country, Dible will work with the Government of North Macedonia to advance a shared vision that builds on 30 years of partnership, promotes locally led development, and meets today’s opportunities, USAID Mission in North Macedonia said in a press release on Thursday. This will be Dible’s first posting as Country Representative. She most recently served on USAID’s COVID-19 Task Force and with USAID’s Afghanistan Mission. She started her USAID career as a Health Officer and has led teams in Mozambique, Georgia, and Ukraine, as well as in Washington, D.C. Dible has a Master’s Degree in Military Operational Art and Science from the U.S. Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington. She has dual Bachelor’s Degrees from Kansas State University in Child Development and Social Work. USAID assistance in North Macedonia supports the country’s aim to become a more prosperous, democratic, and inclusive society through programs that promote economic growth and competitiveness; increase youth engagement to lower unemployment and exclusion; and reduce corruption and foster accountability, reads the press release.
