Skopje, 1 July 2024 (MIA) - I wish Mr. Filipche success and SDSM to be a constructive opposition and work in the interest of the citizens and the homeland, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Monday.

Mickoski was qaizzed by reporters to comment on yesterday's election of former health minister Venko Filipche as SDSM leader, saying they would respect their decision while adding "we do not want to interfere in the internal affairs of other political parties".

"I said during my expose in the Parliament that I am extending my hand when it comes to the interests of Macedonia and its citizens. This will be the case in the future as well. The SDSM members made the decision, we have to respect that decision because we have no right and we do not want to interfere in the internal affairs of other political parties," said Mickoski.
