Skopje, 18 March 2025 (MIA) - Following the deadly fire at the nightclub in Kochani, Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski has decided to dismiss police chiefs, assistant chiefs and commanders in Shtip and Kochani, the Interior Ministry told MIA.

The Minister dismissed the chief and deputy chief of the Shtip Sector for Internal Affairs; the chief of the Shtip Police Department; the chief of the Shtip Department for Criminal Police; the chief of the Department for Internal Affairs in Kochani; the commander of the general police station in Kochani; and the chief of the External Office for Criminal Affairs in Kochani.

Minister Toshkovski is expected to share more details about the dismissals at a press conference at 3:30 p.m.
