Skopje, 28 March 2024 (MIA) - An info-day of NATO Science for Peace and Security programme will take place in the MPs' Club on Thursday, including Defense Minister Slavjanka Petrovska, programme experts, academia and NGOs.

Minister Petrovska and Claudio Palestini, Head of Science for Peace and Security and Programme Management and Coordination Unit at NATO, will provide the opening remarks, followed by the programme's presentation in three sessions, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release.

The info-day is held within the observances of North Macedonia's 4th NATO membership anniversary.

The Science for Peace and Security programme promotes dialogue and practical cooperation between NATO member states and partner countries based on scientific research, technological innovation and knowledge exchange. The programme offers funding, expert advice and support to tailor-made, civil security-relevant activities that respond to NATO’s strategic objectives.
