Skopje, 10 May 2023 (MIA) - The government at its Wednesday’s session passed a decision authorizing Health Minister to sign the annex for amending and supplementing the collective agreement for the activities in health sector, thus increasing the wages of employees in public health institutions, starting with the payment of March wages.

“The Minister of Health will sign the annex with the Independent Trade Union for Health, Pharmacy and Social Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia, which enables an increase in the wages of employees in public health institutions. As explained by the Ministry of Health, health sector employees will receive Mden 3,000, Mden 2,500 or Mden 2,000 increase,” the government said in a press release.

The government also authorized the directors, i.e. acting directors of the public health institutions, to sign the individual collective agreements, which increase the wages of the employees in the public health institutions, starting with the payment of the March wage.
