Skopje, 8 May 2025 (MIA) - ZNAM will make public by the end of May the outcome of the discussions with ruling parties over possible cooperation for the coming local elections, said party leader and Kumanovo Mayor Maksim Dimitrievski on Thursday.

Dimitrievski told a press conference that he expects ZNAM to cooperate with coalition partner VMRO-DPMNE, while adding that the party would have its candidate lists in 50 municipalities.

"We are focused on cooperating with our Government partners and will announce the outcome of the discussions by the end of the month. We expect to cooperate with VMRO-DPMNE but ZNAM will have its lists of candidates in 50 municipalities across the country," said Dimitrievski.

On the possibility of cooperation with Vlen, he said talks have not taken place until now, while adding they are ready for any type of collaboration.

"We have set up a negotiating team comprised of the party's secretary-general and the two vice-presidents," said Dimitrievski.

Regarding the statement by SDSM leader Venko Filipche that the Government coalition is crumbling, the ZNAM leader said the executive has never been more stable and added that "the self-proclaimed opposition leader should deal with himself and look inside his empty party HQ".
