Health Ministry: 46% of adult population fully jabbed, over 1.6 million vaccine doses administered
Skopje, 12 November 2021 (MIA) – On Wednesday and Thursday, a total of 7,169 vaccine doses were administered in North Macedonia. Of these, 1,389 people received the first vaccine dose, 1,364 the second and 3,433 citizens got the third (booster) shot. 57% of the adult population has received one vaccine dose, and 46% of citizens over 18 have received two vaccine doses, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Friday. “As of Thursday, a total of 812,631 citizens have been vaccinated against COVID-19 nationwide, 783,880 have been fully vaccinated, and 51,531 people have received their booster dose. 54% of people over 40 have been fully vaccinated, while 33% of those aged 18-39 have received at least one vaccine dose,” read the release. According to the number of administered vaccines, 39% of the country’s entire population received at least one vaccine dose, and 37% received two vaccine doses.
